OUR STORY

From parents@work to Oraco

parents@work & oraco

Parenting is undeniably one of the most effective and immersive training grounds, imparting a diverse array of invaluable skills that are directly transferable to the workplace. However, for a company to truly reap the benefits of these skills, it must first demonstrate genuine appreciation for its working parents.

Appreciating working parents not only fosters a sense of loyalty, which is arguably the most valuable currency for any organization, but it also plays a pivotal role in the ongoing battle for talent in today's competitive landscape.

But what does appreciation entail? It necessitates a fundamental reevaluation of both explicit and implicit company behaviors. Existing structures must be scrutinized to ascertain whether they actively support working parents or inadvertently marginalize them, driving them away from the organization.

Equally essential is the provision of support for working parents in cultivating their own self-leadership abilities as well developing the organizations own leaders. This entails equipping all employees with the necessary skills to navigate the myriad pressures they face while maintaining a sense of balance and well-being.

Enter the parents@work program—a comprehensive initiative designed to address these multifaceted needs of both companies and working parents alike. Building upon years of experience, we have taken this endeavor a step further with the establishment of Oraco.

Oraco seamlessly integrates the foundational principles of the parents@work program with an array of supplementary offerings, including tailored coaching programs and a dynamic community platform, aimed at providing unparalleled support to parents and organizations alike.
